The British Navy’s stealth fighter jet F-35 has left from Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum). This fighter aircraft of the British Royal Navy was standing at Trivandrum Airport due to technical fault for five weeks. A specialist team of Royal Air Force from England made Jet worth flying after repair at the MRO facility at Trivandrum Airport.
The Delhi-based UK High Commission thanked India, saying that the F-35B aircraft has left from Thiruvananthapuram Airport after ‘Repair and Safety Check’ and has again come into ‘active’ service.

Prime Minister Modi’s two -day visit to England
The special thing is that on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going on a two -day tour of England. During this time, there is a possibility of discussion on cooperation in the defense sector along with signing of trade -free treaty between the two countries. For indigenous Stealth Fighter Jet AMCA (Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft), England’s Rolls Royce Company’s aviation engine can also be specially negotiated.
America’s fighter jet landed in non-NATO country
From the 14th (June) of last month, the fifth category ‘invisible’ F-35 aircraft stood at Trivandrum Airport due to emergency landing. Initially it was told that due to lack of fuel, the landing of fighter jet has been done. Later, the technical fault was stated. Fighter jet could not fly after reaching Trivandrum Airport. In such a situation, it became a matter of curiosity all over the world, because for the first time in a non-Nato country, the most advanced and modern fighter jet made in America was stuck.
America’s claim is wrong
The F-35 fighter Jet, Royal Navy’s aircraft-carrier was stationed on HMS-Wales. At the time of the incident, HMS-Wales was stationed in the Arabian Sea. America, England and NATO countries also suffered a shock because the Indian Air Force claimed to ‘detect F-35’.
The Air Force said that the country’s IACCS i.e. Integrated Air Command and Control System caught F-35 flying in the Arabian Sea. Whereas the US claims that this fighter jet cannot catch any radar in the world. The US has supplied this very advanced fighter aircraft to its associate countries including England and Israel.
Trivandrum reached a specialist team of Royal Air Force
Initially, the fighter jet pilot also refused to take F-35 to the Hanger of Trivandrum Airport citing security. In such a situation, a QRT of CISF was deployed under the security of F-35. Royal Navy engineers also failed to correct technical faults. Later, when a specialist team of Royal Air Force reached Trivandrum from England, F-35 was shifted to MRO i.e. Maintenance Repair and Overhaling Facility.
