Miles Routledge Lost Airpods: The 24 -year -old YouTuber Miles rootlase’s search for the year -old airpods has emerged as a shocking story of “Britain’s future Prime Minister” and “Lord Miles” on social media. This search was not limited to just one gadget, but it also included international location tracking, help of Pakistani police, social media campaign and fun reactions.
Airpods’ location reached Pakistan from Dubai
Miles lost his wireless airpods at a hotel in Dubai last year. When he started tracking them with the help of Apple’s ‘Find My’ app, it came to know that Airpods are not in Dubai but in Jhelum city of Punjab province of Pakistan, “2nd Wife Restaurant”. After this revelation, he tagged the Jhelum police on X and asked for help and said that if needed, he himself will come to Pakistan and take action with the police.
Police came into action, device found
As soon as the social media posts of the rootlage went viral, the Jhelum police started action on it. He investigated the families who recently returned from Dubai. Eventually the police found a person who had the same airpods. The person told that he had bought him from an Indian citizen in Dubai and he did not know that he was stolen. The police did not consider any crime in the case and gave the option to the routelage to get the device by post or take themselves. Rootage himself opted to come and take it.
Questions raised on social media
When the roulage asked to go to Pakistan and take airports, people raised questions on social media. Many users said that it is not prudent for international travel, police help and so much noise for $ 200 airpods. One user wrote, “Why it was easy to buy so much?” The other wrote, “I do not put those airpods again in the ear!”
Pakistanis reactions
Some Pakistanis described this development as a positive image building for the country, while some joked. Somebody wrote, “The world has lifted the world behind the $ 200 airpods.” One user even said, “LOLIVUD attention may be the name of the next film: ‘I will go to Jhelum to take airports from London.’
Routez’s response
Miles Routez said that he was already in Afghanistan and was going to Karachi via Pakistan, so it was not a big deal to get the device. He further said that he will now help as a public service to find lost airpods and will also make a video on this entire experience.
