Sikkim’s only Lok Sabha member Indra Hung Subba met Sanjay Kumar Jha, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture, on Monday and submitted a memorandum demanding immediate intervention to restore flight operations at Pakyong Airport and to restore road connectivity in the northern regions of the state."Text-Align: justify;"> According to a statement issued by the MP’s office, Subba informed Jha about the frequent natural disasters in northern Sikkim, especially the floods due to floods on 4 October 2023, and the crisis coming out of people and tourist stakeholders after the sudden flood on June 1 this year.
