BSF head constable shoots himself with service rifle on India-Pakistan border. The deceased Krishna Kumar (44) was a resident of Hoshiarpur (Punjab).

According to the information, Krishna Kumar of 173rd battalion was posted at Bhanu border post in Shahgarh area. He was in BSF for 24 years. The incident occurred around 12 noon on Thursday.
Shahgarh police station in-charge Baburam said that the reasons for suicide are being investigated. At present the body of the deceased has been kept in the hospital located in Ramgarh. Postmortem of the body will be done after the arrival of the family members.
