When did Mayawati give Akash and when did it remove? Know

  • First, on December 10, 2023, a meeting of leaders of UP-Uttarakhand was called. In this, Mayawati declared Akash Anand, son of her youngest brother Anand Kumar, a successor. He had expressed confidence in his nephew to carry forward the legacy and politics of the party.
  • On May 7, 2024, all the responsibilities were taken away due to misunderstanding. Akash was removed from the post of National Coordinator as well as his successor. Mayawati had said that Akash is currently immature (Imiture).
  • 47 days later, Mayawati overturned her decision. On June 23, 2024, he was again successor and also handed over the responsibility of the National Coordinator, but on 2 March 2025, he again took away all the responsibilities from him. It was said- they are not his successor. He had said, ‘I will not have any successor in the party till my life and last breath.
  • On March 3, he was dropped from the party itself. The sky had to show his maturity by repenting. However, the reaction given by Akash is not a political maturity. He has become selfish, egoistic under the influence of his father -in -law.
  • Mayawati waived Akash on 13 April after 40 days. It was said- I will not make Akash a successor. His father -in -law’s mistakes are not forgiven.
  • Now after 35 days, Akash is again given a big responsibility. He has been made Chief National Co-ordinator.

On 10 December 2023, Mayawati made Akash a successor during a meeting of leaders of UP-Uttarakhand.

Mayawati wants to practice 3 goals through Akash

  1. Mayawati wants to attract Dalit youth through Akash. Right now Chandrashekhar is getting a challenge.
  2. Due to SP’s Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman, the SP is engaged in mobilizing Dalits in the west. Akash is popular among Dalits, especially the youth. This will benefit the BSP.
  3. The Congress has passed a resolution in the Ahmedabad session about the Dalit-Adivasi and Backward in the Ahmedabad session. Mayawati was feeling uncomfortable with this. He had also taken a dig at the Congress on social media about this.

BSP in -charge, Divisional President, State President, all State Presidents and Coordinators were present in the meeting.

On Sunday, BSP in -charge, Divisional President, State President, all State Presidents and Coordinators were present in the meeting on Sunday. In the meeting, a strategy was prepared for Bihar assembly elections and upcoming 2027 elections in Uttar Pradesh. Read 4 key things

  1. Decision to enter Bihar assembly elections with full preparation on its own. Mayawati said- the party will contest elections. Candidates will field all 240 seats.
  2. The BSP reviewed the strengthening of the party organization across the country and increasing the base. Mayawati praised the Indian Army for ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to Pahalgam terror attack (22 April 2025). Pakistan also supported the warning of not tolerating nuclear threats.
  3. Demand strict action from the state governments to prevent incidents like disrespect of statues of Gautam Buddha and Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Along with this, he said to curb racist and communal elements.

This is a picture of Akash Anand and Dr. Siddharth’s daughter Pragya’s wedding. Mayawati was also present in it.

Akash entered politics in 2017 Akash Anand first appeared with Mayawati at a public meeting in Saharanpur in 2017. After this, he was constantly working as the party. In 2019, he was made National Coordinator. This decision was taken when the SP and BSP alliance broke after the Lok Sabha elections. For the first time in the 2022 Himachal assembly elections, Akash Anand’s name came on the list of star campaigners.

Akash has studied Master of Business Administration (MBA) from London. Akash is married to Dr. Pragya, daughter of former BSP Rajya Sabha member Ashok Siddharth.

BSP on 206 to 1 assembly seat The condition of the BSP, which won 206 assembly seats in 2007, now is that there is only one MLA in the assembly. In the 2022 assembly elections, the BSP got 12.9 percent of the 15.2 crore voters in the state. He received a total of one crore 18 lakh 73 thousand 137 votes.

The BSP’s situation did not improve even in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BSP, which won 10 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha, could not even open an account this time. His vote percentage fell from 19.43% to 9.35% in 2019. This was about 3 percent less than the assembly elections.

Despair in Delhi after Maharashtra-Jharkhand

After Maharashtra-Jharkhand, Mayawati was also disappointed with the Delhi Assembly elections. He fielded candidates for 69 seats out of 70 in the Delhi Assembly elections. Akash Anand, the party’s national coordinator and nephew of Mayawati, campaigned a lot in this election.

Despite this, could not affect the party’s performance. Alam was that most of the party’s candidates could not even cross the figure of thousand votes. The BSP got only 55,066 (0.58 percent) votes.

Mayawati wants to create her organization again.

BSP’s most spectacular performance in UP in 2007 Even though the dominance of the BSP supremo is seen decreasing in UP politics, but still the party has about 10 percent vote bank. In the alliance, it can make anyone a heavy upper hand. The BSP’s most spectacular performance was in 2007. Then the BSP returned to power in the state on its own.

In the assembly, 206 of his MLAs were won by winning. The party then received more than 30 percent of the votes. Social engineering was considered the reason for this success. The BSP is once again weaving the dream of returning to the golden era in the state politics.
