Rahmat Shah scored the first double century of his career.

Rahmat Shah scored a double century for Afghanistan in the Bulawayo Test. He made a partnership of 361 runs for the third wicket with captain Hashmatullah Shahidi, both are still not out. With the help of both their innings, the team scored 425 runs by the end of the third day’s play.

Despite a strong partnership, Afghanistan team is 161 runs behind Zimbabwe’s first innings score. Zimbabwe scored 586 runs in the first innings, 3 players from the team had scored centuries.

Afghanistan did not lose a single wicket on the third day On Saturday, Afghanistan started the third day of the Test with a score of 95/2. Rahmat Shah led his innings with a score of 49 runs and Shahidi with a score of 16 runs. Both of them batted the whole day and did not let the team’s wicket fall.
