In the initial trends, BJP is continuously leading. BJP candidate Chandrabhanu Paswan is constantly leading the Samajwadi Party’s Ajit Prasad.

In the 2022 assembly elections, the voting percentage on this seat was 60.23. On this seat, while SP has given ticket to Ajit Prasad, son of MP Awadhesh Prasad, BJP has fielded Chandrabhanu Paswan. Apart from this, Chandrashekhar Azad’s party has also fielded its candidate in Milkipur.
