New Delhi. As expected, the Indian cricket team won the title in the ICC Champions Trophy and won the title. The team captained by Rohit Sharma became the champion after defeating New Zealand in the final. India first won the ICC Trophy in 1983 when an underdog team won the World Cup by defeating the dreaded West Indies. One of the most prestigious players of that team was the great Sunil Gavaskar. He has chosen his All Time India ODI playing XI.

Talking with India Today, Suvil Gavaskar announced his all time XI. The team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was made. To start the innings in this XI, chose the pair of Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma. Tendulkar is at the top with 18,436 runs in ODI cricket while Rohit has also scored more than 11,000 ODI runs. His name includes three double centuries in this format. Virat Kohli was chosen by Gavaskar to bat at number three.
In the semi -finals of the 1983 World Cup and the finals of the match, all -rounder Mohinder Amarnath has been placed at number 4. The 2011 ODI World Cup player of the tournament Yuvraj Singh has been selected to bat in fifth place. Both Amarnath and Yuvraj can also bowl if needed.
Sunil Gavaskar has named a strong bowling lineup at his All Time India ODI playing XI. He has chosen Kapil Dev, Mohammed Shami and Zaheer Khan as fast bowling trio. Kapil will also be a great option in the lower order. While Jasprit Bumrah has not found a place in Gavaskar’s team.
