New Delhi. Zimbabwe’s contrast Brandon Taylor is ready to make a comeback after the ban. In the next Test series played against New Zealand, Zimbabwe will go from side to play. Taylor announced a sudden retirement in 2021 but was banned on the ICC’s anti-corruption code. Givmor Makoni, MD of Zimbabwe Cricket, has convinced Taylor to return.

According to ESPNcricinfo, Taylor can be included in the Zimbabwe’s Test team, even though his name was not earlier. Taylor said at the beginning of the year. “I still want to play and I think I can have an impact as a player. I look at my physical and mental state and if I think I can’t do it, I do not even try. Givmor has supported me a lot. He currently stopped coaching work and said ‘Can you continue to play. I will be able to play for the 2027 World Cup. Then I will be 41 years old.”

Taylor has scored a total of 6684 runs in 205 ODIs, including 11 centuries and 39 half -centuries. His biggest innings has been 145 unbeaten 145 runs. Playing 34 Test matches, he scored 2320 runs, including 6 centuries. Taylor has played the biggest innings of 171 runs in the Test.

Zimbabwe’s team announced

Zimbabwe has announced a 16 -member team for the upcoming two -match Test series against New Zealand. The Queens Sports Club of Bulavio will be played against the series. This team will be captained by Craig Ervin while Ben Karan and Brianna are returning to the team after recovering from the injury.

Veteran players Sean Williams and Blessing Muzarabani have also been included, along with Alexander Raza, Roy Kaiya and Tanunurva Makoni will also be part of the team. The series will be the first Test series between Zimbabwe and New Zealand after July-August 2016, when New Zealand won 2–0. The first Test will be played from July 30 to August 3, while the second Test will be from 7-11 August, 2025.
