CBSE Marksheet Correction Window: The Central Secondary Education Board (CBSE) is soon to become a correction window for the marksheet of students. Schools related to CBSE, which have not yet corrected the details given in the marksheet of students, can fix it as soon as possible. The correction window will be closed on 17 April 2025.
In fact, on 9 April, CBSE gave the concerned schools related to a notification to fix the details of registered students. So that students do not face any kind of trouble later. CBSE urged all schools to strictly verify whether students details, including the spelling and date of birth, matches the official school records such as the entry and withdrawal register.
What can you fix?
During the correction window open by the board, the school can change the name of the mother and father of the students, the student’s photo, date of birth updates (according to CBSE rules and valid documents), “single child” can change the position, gender and mother/father’s spelling. However, there will be no change in the student’s category. If a student has a category general or OBC, then there will be no change in it.
Correction processing fees
According to the notification issued by CBSE, a processing fee of Rs 1,000 per student will be applicable for each improvement. This amount should be paid by the schools to the Regional CBSE office concerned.

No, CBSE also emphasized that no improvement request would be accepted after April 17, 2025. The final data deposited by the schools will be used to prepare the students’ marksheets and official results.
When will CBSE 10th-12th result come?
Let us know that this year more than 51 lakh students had registered for the 10th and 12th board examination of CBSE. The students appearing in the board examination are now waiting for their results. CBSE will declare the results of the 10th and 12th board exams in May 2025. Students are advised to rely on the official website only for the information from the result and keep an eye on the website.
