The Union Ministry of Cooperative Ministry is meeting in Delhi, which is being chaired by Union Minister Amit Shah. Union Minister of State Krishna Pal Gurjar from Haryana and State Cooperation Minister Arvind Sharma from Haryana have attended this meeting.

Planting plant before meeting
Haryana Cooperative Minister Arvind Sharma discussed with officials at Haryana Bhavan before attending the meeting. After this, he also planted saplings in the premises of Haryana Bhavan. He said during this time that the field of cooperatives works like a spine for the rural population.
The central government is focusing on the development of farmers and rural areas through cooperatives. In today’s meeting, information will be given about the work done in the field of cooperatives done so far in Haryana. Also, future plans will be churned.
What issues are being discussed in the meeting ..
1. Discussion on two lakh packs
Major topics like the establishment of 2 lakh new multipurpose primary agricultural loan societies (PACS), dairy and fisheries cooperative societies are being discussed in the meeting of Ministry of Cooperation, which is important to bring rural service distribution to the end.
2. On food storage too Discussion
The meeting will also discuss the ‘world’s largest food storage scheme’ in the cooperative sector, which aims to strengthen food security and empower farmers. Along with this, the progress and participation of states will also be discussed under the ‘Cooperative in Cooperation’ campaign and ‘International Cooperative Year 2025’.

3. Review will be done on works so far
The main objective of the meeting is to make overall review of the initiatives and plans of the Ministry of Cooperation, to evaluate progress so far and ensure exchange of experiences, best processes and creative suggestions from states, union territories. This meeting will work towards developing a shared understanding and coordinated strategy to carry forward the attitude of ‘Sahakar to prosperity’ through collective efforts.
4. Review of works of cooperative institutions will be
In the three new multi-state cooperative institutions, National Cooperative Export Limited (NCEL), National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL) and Indian Seed Cooperative Society Limited (BBSSL), the participation of states will be held in meeting. Also, the support price for pulses and maize producing farmers will be discussed under the White Revolution 2.0 and the concept of circulatory and sustainability in the dairy region of India and under the self -reliance campaign.
