In the 49th match of IPL-18, Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 4 wickets. Chennai’s team was all out for 190 runs in 19.2 overs at Chepock Stadium. In response, Punjab achieved a target of 191 for 6 wickets in 19.3 overs thanks to Prabhasimran Singh and Shreyas Iyer’s fifty.
With this, 5 -time champion Chennai Super Kings became the first team to be out of the playoff race in the IPL.
Many interesting moments and records were seen in the match on Wednesday. Yuzvendra Chahal became the highest number of 4+ wicket bowler in IPL. 1. Jadeja out on Punjab review
Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed on the last ball of Powerplay. Harpreet Brar threw flat and fast ball, skid with good length outside the off stump. Jadeja remained frozen at the crease and tried to play in the off side, but the bat fell and the ball went directly into the hands of wicketkeeper Josh English.
