A total of 20 leopards were brought from Africa to Kuno National Park. The first eight of these leopards were brought from Namibia and then 12 leopards from South Africa.

Kuno National Park in Sheopur district is echoed by 2 new cheetah cubs on Tuesday. The female cheetah Veera has given birth to 2 little cubs. In this way, the total number of 14 cubs and 12 adult cheetahs in Kuno is now 26.

Expressing happiness over the arrival of 2 new cheetahs in the earth’s land, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav have asked the officials, doctors and field staff to monitor them.

Today the female cheetah Veera has given birth to 2 little cubs. Cheetah cubs are welcome on the land of Madhya Pradesh. I heartily congratulate the people of the state on the arrival of these little cubs. CM Yadav congratulated all the officers, doctors and field staff associated with the project.

He wrote- As a result of his tireless hard work, Madhya Pradesh is also known as ‘Earth of Cheetah’. Due to continuous increase in the clan of cheetahs, tourism of the state is getting a new flight, due to which new doors of employment are opening. We are always ready to conserve, promote and restore all wildlife along with cheetahs.

Union Forest Minister said- welcome to both cubs Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav also posted on X for the arrival of cheetahs in Kuno. He said- With the beginning of spring season, the wind of Kuno fills endless happiness and enthusiasm. We welcome the arrival of two new cheetah cubs in the Kuno National Park. Veera (5), a female cheetah brought from the Tvalu Kalahari Reserve of South Africa, has given birth to 2 cubs today.
