Anti naxal campaign: Security agencies and soldiers are continuously running operations to make the Naxal -free India campaign of Union Home Minister Amit Shah a success. Under this, 30 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Bijapur and Kanker districts of Chhattisgarh. A soldier has also been martyred in this incident. Police officials have given this information on Thursday (March 20).
Police officials said that 30 Naxalites were killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in the border area of ​​Bijapur and Dantewada district under Gangalur police station area of ​​Bijapur district and in Kanker district. He said that 26 Naxalites were killed and one soldier was killed in Bijapur district, while four other Naxalites were killed in Kanker district. He said that a joint team of security forces was dispatched from Gangalur police station in the border area of ​​Bijapur and Dantewada districts on an anti -Naxal operation.
Officials said that during this campaign, there is a continuous firing between the Naxalites and the security forces from seven o’clock this morning. He said that the security forces have recovered the bodies of 26 Naxalites along with a large amount of weapons and ammunition from the encounter site. He informed that a soldier of Bijapur District Reserve Guard (DRG) has been martyred in this incident.
Encounter and investigative campaign continues
Kanker district Superintendent of Police Indira Kalyan Alesela said that this morning there was another encounter in the forest on the border of Kanker and Narayanpur district, when a joint team of DRG and Border Security Force had gone out on an anti -Naxal campaign. He said that after the action, apart from the bodies of four Naxalites, automatic weapons were also recovered. Union Home Minister Amit Shah termed the operation of security forces in Chhattisgarh as a big success and claimed that the country is going to be Naxal-free before 31 March next year.
‘Zero tolerance policy against Naxalites’
Amit Shah posted on X and said, our soldiers have achieved another great success in the direction of ‘Naxalite India campaign’. 22 Naxalites were killed in 2 different operations of our security forces in Bijapur and Kanker in Chhattisgarh. He said, ‘The Modi government is moving beyond the Ruthless approach (without any mercy) against the Naxalites and despite all the facilities of dedication to inclusion, the Naxalites are not surrendering, are adopting a policy of zero tolerance against them. The country is going to be Naxal-free before 31 March next year.
