India approved the purchase of military equipment worth more than Rs 54,000 crore on Thursday (March 20, 2025). It includes engineers for air attack warning and control aircraft system, torpedo and T-90 tanks.
Ministry of Defense said that under an important step, the Defense Procurement Council (DAC) has also approved guidelines to reduce the deadline in several stages of the capital acquisition process, so that it can be made more fast, more effective and efficient.
