Made in China 2025: China is going to rule the world in the field of manufacturing in the next few years. Beijing’s Renmin University of China has released a report, claiming that the Made in China from 2025 will overtake all countries of the world in the field of smart manufacturing. The purpose of the Made in China Project, launched around 10 earlier, was to make China the best in high technology industry including aerospace, electric cars, robotics and telecommunications.
China is getting benefits from Made in China
According to the report of South China Morning Post, Dean Wang Wen of Rainmin University said that in recent years, global resistance, especially with the conflict over different policies from America, has helped China to grow in many major areas. No official statement from Beijing has been revealed on Made in China 2025, but last year it was told that 86 percent of the targets set in the scheme have been achieved.
China’s reign will be in the next 5 to 10 years
According to the report, last month (February 2025) was anxious in the US Parliament about China’s progress and advanced manufacturing. Also warned that the US is taking the risk of losing the next industrial revolution. This report comes at a time when America and China are face to face with tariffs. Citing the data of Grand View Research, Wang Wayne said, “China will have to increase its manufacturing power continuously. Doing so will China become the center of global smart manufacturing in the next 5 to 10 years.”
China’s manufacturing market will be the largest
The US Consultancy has estimated that China will lead the Global Smart Manufacturing Market, where the tax will increase at 18.2 per cent annual rate to US $ 158.2 billion by 2030. According to the company, in the meantime, USA’s smart manufacturing market will reach US $ 152.1 billion by 2030 with an increase of 13.6 per cent per year. China’s next task will have to promote integration of new technology including AI in the field of manufacturing. The report of Rainmin University states that digital economy share in China’s GDP will increase by more than 50 percent or 60 percent.
