Six Chinese investors in Karachi have filed a petition in the Sindh High Court against the police alleging harassment and extortion. According to the report of Pakistan’s Geo News, Chinese investors said that from the airport to the house, the police are repeatedly demanding bribes. He also said that he was being prevented from moving around freely and holding business meetings. On the appeal of Chinese investors, Sindh High Court has issued a notice to the IG Police and sought a reply within 4 weeks.
