After the recent struggle with India and the operation of Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has now stood at the door of America. During the military conflict with India, there has been an increase in restlessness in Pakistan over the credibility of Chinese defense equipment, which is why Pakistani Air Force (PAF) chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has reached Washington to strengthen defense relations with America.

This is the first visit to America by any PAF Chief in more than a decade. Recently, Pakistani Army Chief and Field Marriage Asim Munir also held a meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington.

During his visit, Pakistani Air Marshal has met top American military officials and leaders, including Chief of Staff General David Alvin, Chief of Staff General of the US Air Force. Pentagon leadership and meetings with officials of the Department of External Affairs focused on increasing defense cooperation and technology-based military exchange.

According to sources, after concerns over the reliability of Chinese equipment, Pakistan is eyeing many advanced American military platforms including F-16 Block 70 fighter jets and air defense systems to modernize its Air Force.

During India’s Operation Sindoor, its missiles and drones attacked military bases within the country, bypassing Pakistan’s defense systems supplied by China.
