Chirag Paswan on Waqf Bill 2024: The Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 has recently been passed from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha Houses. Opposition parties have criticized the government and opposed this for this bill. Meanwhile, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has given a big statement on this issue.
Chirag Paswan said, “I want to tell every person of Muslim society that if they are resentful, then it is on my head and eyes. Whatever decision my party has taken, it has been taken carefully and in the interest of every section of the society. Our effort is to get everyone a chance to equal.” He further said, “My father Ram Vilas Paswan always fought for social justice. His thoughts and rites are the basis of my life. I am also working to pursue the same thinking with honesty. The time will tell myself whether our decisions were right or not.”
“The party supported the bill thoughtfully”
Chirag Paswan also said that his party has thoughtfully supported the bill. He informed that poor and backward classes will benefit from this bill, including people of Muslim community. The party discussed this bill in detail and made several suggestions, which the committee also accepted. He expressed confidence that this law will prove to be in favor of poor Muslims in the coming time.

“This bill will be in the interest of poor Muslims”
Chirag Paswan said, “We have supported this bill only by thinking and examining everything and this will help the poor and backward classes. We discussed in detail on every point. Where we were aware, we also asked questions. The party has given many suggestions, which the committee agreed. I agree.
