CISF Recruitment: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is going to be bumper recruitment by the year 2029. Currently, 1 lakh 62 thousand personnel are deployed in the Central Armed Police Force, now this number will be increased to two lakhs. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has taken this important decision to support the economic development of the nation.
Under the new decision, 14,000 new soldiers will be recruited every year in CISF in the next five years. This recruitment campaign will add new youth to the force with existing 1.62 lakh personnel. So that it will be able to create more force for war. As India’s economy touches new heights, this growth will promote the deployment of CISF in many important areas.
According to ANI, leftist extremism has now reduced in states like Chhattisgarh and new industrial centers are likely to be formed with it. Therefore, CISF will be needed to provide comprehensive and effective security here.
Recruitment has been going on for the last two years
In the year 2024, 13,230 personnel were recruited and in 2025, the recruitment process of 24,098 other personnel is going on in CISF. An official told ANI, “These recruitment efforts are likely to attract a large number of women candidates, which support the progressive policies of force. It aims to increase the representation of women in all ranks.
Two units deployed in the campus in Parliament House
Due to this increase, CISF is in a position to create an additional battalion, which will be used in internal security and casual deployment. Over the years, CISF has included seven new units inside its security wing, including NTPC Coal Mining Project at Parliament House Complex, Ayodhya Airport, Hazaribagh, ICMR-National Viristics Institute in Pune, Buxar Thermal Power Project, Jawahar Thermal Power Project and Jawahar Thermal Power Project and Beas Sutlej link in Mandi.
Apart from this, two new units have been included under the fire wing in the Jawahar Thermal Power Project at Parliament House Complex and Etah. This expansion highlights the growing role of CISF in India’s growing economic growth and development of infrastructure as well as the development of major national properties.
