In Mandi city of Himachal Pradesh, a sudden flood caused a huge havoc on Monday night. Three people died while many houses and vehicles were buried in debris. Rescue work is going on. Mandi recorded 198.6 mm rainfall. The administration has appealed to stay away from the river drains. Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Devgan said that relief and rescue operations are going on and so far 15 to 20 people have been rescued.
