Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Mathura on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. He offered prayers at Shri Krishna’s birthplace and performed the aarti of Lord Krishna. During this, he also fed kheer to the children. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone and inauguration of several projects. In his address, he said that the symbols of 500 years of slavery ended in Ayodhya and the grand Ram temple is being constructed. He also mentioned Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Vindhyavasini Dham. The Chief Minister clarified that the way the share of slavery was erased in Ayodhya, similarly the share of slavery will be erased in Mathura. He said, “In Ayodhya, we erased the fraction of slavery, similarly the share of slavery will be erased in Mathura.” Kapil Sharma, Secretary, Sri Krishna Janma Institute and members of the cabinet were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister also organized a program to address the devotees and shower flowers.
