Mahakumbh (Mahakumbh 2025) is going to start in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in Aaj Tak’s platform ‘Dharma Sansad’. During this, he also discussed the questions raised regarding Maha Kumbh regarding Jama Masjid of Sambhal. On the Jama Masjid case, CM Yogi said, “There are both types of evidence – scriptural evidence and evidence of faith. If these are obtained, I feel that the court should not be forced to interfere but the followers of Islam should be given a very respectable manner.” You should tell him that this is yours, take care of it.

On the need to review the Places of Worship law, CM Yogi said, “I think the Honorable Court is looking at it and will also look at it. Faith will definitely be respected. India is a faith-filled country, organizing this Mahakumbh is a symbol of that faith. Where every believer from the country and the world will come here without any discrimination.”

‘For new India…’

Yogi Adityanath said that for the new India, that faith needs to be carried forward with great purity for the building of the country and the welfare of 140 crore Indians.

He further said, “The country will not run according to the mentality of the Muslim League, it will run according to the faith of India. We have given shelter to people of every sect of the world. Ain-e-Akbari says that in 1526, Shri Hari Vishnu Temple was built. The structure has been broken. Whatever things have happened, if the Hindu faith insists, then it should be heard.”

CM Yogi said, “It is against the principles of Islam that if a structure like a mosque has been built at any place by hurting someone’s faith, then any kind of worship there is not acceptable to God.”

He said that it is not necessary to have any structure for worship in Islam. It is in Sanatan Dharma that he will go to the temple for worship. It is time we think about a new India, which feels proud of its heritage. Today a wonderful coordination of heritage and development is being seen in the new India.
