New Delhi Railway Station Stampede Case: On Saturday (February 15, 2025), reports are being shown by citing an investigation of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in the case of stampede at New Delhi railway station. Regarding this, the PIB has said that such reports are misleading, there is no truth in them.
The PIB said that some media reports today cited the RPF investigation report on the stampede at New Delhi railway station, which is “wrong and misleading”. Northern Railway has formed a two -member high -level committee to investigate the incident. More than 100 individual statements are being collected by the committee. After receiving all such statements, the committee will conduct a thorough test, which involves a copy-appearance to establish the exact order of events. The investigation report will be submitted by the committee.
It is informed that no other investigation is being done other than the investigation being conducted by the High Level Committee. Indian Railways urges media companies to wait for the final report of the High Level Committee in this regard.
