Supriya shrinate attack on nagpur violence: A heavy police force is deployed in Nagpur, Maharashtra after the violence on Monday (March 17, 2025). Politics is also going on about the incident. Congress leader Supriya Srinet has criticized Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s statement in which he said that the film has instigated the anger of the people against Aurangzeb.

Or when I get time, to spoil the atmosphere by giving themselves a nervous speech? Law and law is your responsibility – remember or forgot? ‘
What did CM Fadnavis say?
While giving a statement in the assembly, CM Fadnavis said that the violence started with a rumor, stating that there was a religious sign on a sheet placed on a symbolic grave, which was burnt. This rumor spread in the evening and the situation deteriorated on seeing this, after which violence erupted. Fadnavis said that 12 two-wheelers were demolished in the violence and one crane, two JCBs and some four-wheelers were set on fire. 80 to 100 people had gathered at the scene. Some people were attacked with a sword.

Five troops of SRPF deployed
He said that the situation became more serious when a policeman was attacked with an ax. 33 policemen were injured in this violence, including three DCP level officers. Apart from this, five common people also suffered injuries. The Chief Minister said that five crimes have been registered in this case. In order to control law and order, the ban has been implemented on the gathering of people in 11 police station areas. Also, five troops of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) have been deployed to handle the situation.
He said that the police took fast steps and controlled the situation. Fadnavis appealed to the public to maintain peace and assured that the government would deal strictly in this matter. He said, whoever is guilty will not be spared. The police has done a good job and strict action will be taken further.
