Before the commencement of Kavad Yatra, a dispute has arisen over the name plate on the journey route. Former Samajwadi Party MP has compared the instructions to make the name plate mandatory for shopkeepers of Yatra Marg to the terrorist attack of Pahalgam. In Muzaffarnagar, six people are accused of forcibly asking for the identity of shopkeepers, after which the dispute increased further. See ‘Halla Bol’.
