The dispute over goat grazing in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh took a deadly form. In this dispute, a woman was beaten to death by a domineering neighbors. The daughter and family of the deceased Rani Devi have accused the police of serious negligence.

55 year old woman murdered

Rani Devi of 55 Sali living under Narwal police station area has two daughters and five sons. According to the family, on the night of 2 October, there was an argument with the neighboring Satyam to graze his goat. The dispute increased so much that Rani Devi was injured in the fight. Daughter Moushumi took them to the police station, but the police did not register a report and sent it back after advising them to get treatment.

When the family returned home after getting treatment, Satyam and his family members again attacked the next morning. This time the accused beat Rani Devi so brutally that she was seriously injured. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The family of the deceased woman made serious allegations against the police

Angry with the incident, the family members created a lot of uproar against the police by placing the body in front of the police station. Daughter Moushumi alleges that if the police had taken action on the first complaint, their mother’s life would have been saved.

In this case, ACP Abhishek Pandey said that a report was lodged in the initial quarrel. After this, when the woman died, she has been added to the murder. The police have arrested one of the accused and the search for the remaining accused is going on. He said that the matter is being investigated in depth and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
