The gang who converted in Bakhtaurikheda village of Nigohan police station area of the capital has been exposed. The police have arrested Malkhan, the main accused in this case. Malkhan was doing conversion work in the village for the last two years.
According to the police, Malkhan used to organize healing meetings every Thursday and Sunday in the hall built in his farm. On this excuse, he used to inspire Scheduled Castes to change religion by luring them. Acting on the complaint, the police has sealed the hall.
Conversion gang busted
This action was taken on the complaint of Bajrang Dal security chief Dharmendra Sharma. Dharmendra gave a complaint from Asra Enclave in PGI region. DCP South Nipun Aggarwal said that complaints of conversion were being received continuously from the village. On Saturday, the police registered a case and caught Malkhan.
The police have recovered two Bible and religion propaganda material from the accused. Officials say that the accused’s associates are being searched and soon they will also be arrested.
Police team reward for 25 thousand rupees
DCP Nipun Aggarwal has announced a reward of Rs 25,000 to the police team catching Malkhan. Police say that strict action will be taken in such cases so that the incidents of conversion can be stopped by forcibly or greed in the villages.
