Corona new variant: The new variant of Kovid-19 is constantly becoming fatal. In recent days, a new variant proved to be fatal for the elderly, especially for the elderly, due to which the number of people who died across the country has reached 100. In the last 24 hours, 11 people died in India. It is the second consecutive day when the death toll from Kovid infection has reached beyond 10. Apart from this, the first death has occurred in Chhattisgarh after the new variant.
85 year old man dies in Chhattisgarh
In Chhattisgarh, active cases of Kovid infection have crossed 50. Another new case was registered in the state on Monday, causing the total case to 51. The first death from Kovid in Chhattisgarh was an elderly person of 85 years. Kerala has recorded the highest number of deaths in the last 24 hours. 7 people infected with Kovid have died in the state. The dead are three women, whose age was 63, 67 and 71 years respectively. A 33 -year -old man has also died. Apart from this, three elders have died due to Kovid, whose age was 85, 83 and 60 years respectively.
Apart from this, a 52 -year -old woman infected with Kovid has died in Madhya Pradesh. A 47 -year -old man in Maharashtra and 67 -year -old in Delhi lost their lives due to infection.
108 deaths in India from Kovid
After the new variant, the death toll in India has been 108 so far. The maximum number of 35 deaths occurred in Kerala. So far 28 people have died in Maharashtra. 12 people have lost their lives in Delhi. After the new variant, 11 deaths were recorded in Karnataka, 4 in Tamil Nadu, 4 in Madhya Pradesh, two each in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat, one each in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Currently, the number of active cases of Kovid infection in India has come down to 7,264.
