Cpm on PM modi: The Marxist Communist Party (CPM) is going to have a meeting in Madurai and a political proposal has been prepared for this, due to which there has been a ruckus inside the left. In fact, the proposal states that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not a fascist or a fascist. It was also explained in this proposal why the Modi government was not called a fascist or neo fascist.
The draft of this political proposal was approved in the meeting of the CPM Central Committee in Kolkata from 17 to 19 January and notes related to it have been sent to the units of the states. Now the Congress has reacted sharply regarding the matter, so CPIM has also demanded improvement in it. The CPIM said that the Modi government is beyond the hasty comprehension to avoid calling it fascist.
What did CPI and Congress say?
CPI State Secretary Binoy Vishwam said, “Fascist ideology teaches how religion and faith can be used for political gains and the BJP government is implementing them in behavior.” At the same time, V.D. of Congress Satishan said that this assessment of CPM is part of the decision to alliance with Modi and work under the Sangh.
‘Secret relations with BJP exposed’
Talking to reporters in Malappuram, he said that this discovery of CPM is not surprising, because it has exposed its years old secret relations with BJP. He said, ‘CPM in Kerala has always tied up with fascism and Sangh. The new document is an attempt to maintain it and survive in some way. He said that the Polit Bureau members of Kerala took the initiative to draft such documents.
CPM Central Committee member AK Balan said in Thiruvananthapuram that the CPM never considered the Modi government as fascist.
