Jack Vukusic is only 17 years old but he has already registered his name in international cricket history. He captained his team in the ongoing T20I bilateral series against Cyprus on Thursday. In this way, he became the captain of the youngest international team in cricket history. Jack Vukusic took over the captaincy of the team in just 17 years and 311 days.
Now Jack Vukusic has recorded the record of captaining the team in international cricket at the youngest name. He broke the previous record of Noman Amjad, who captained France in July 2022 at the age of 18 years and 24 days against the Czech Republic. In Test playing countries, this record is named after Afghanistan’s star leg spinner Rashid Khan. Who captained his team at the age of 19 years and 165 days in the T20I match against Scotland in March 2018.
