The war between Iran and Israel has now reached the cyber world. The Iranian authorities confirmed on Wednesday (June 18) that two of his banks have been attacked by cyber attacks. A spokesman for the Iranian government said that the bank sepah and the bank Pasargad have been targeted.
The spokesman says that people’s data has not been harmed in this cyber attack and the bank’s system will be restored. An anti-Irani government Hacking Group on Tuesday (June 17) claimed that it has destroyed the data of Iran’s government bank, bank sepah.
Who attacked?
This group is feared to be related to Israel and they have made many cyber attacks on Iran before. This group is known as Gonzeshke Darande or Predatory Sparrow. The group has told in a post that they hacked the bank because the bank helps in funding the Iranian army.

This cyber attack has taken place at a time when the tension between Israel and Iran has increased considerably. Both countries are constantly attacking each other. Last week, Israel attacked many places in Iran. Israel had said that it is targeting Iran’s alleged nuclear bases.

Since then, tension between the two countries is increasing. Both countries have carried out missile attacks on each other this week.
