The Lucknow court of UP has imposed a fine of Rs 200 on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and asked to appear on 14 April 2025. Rahul is accused of making controversial statements against Savarkar in Akola, Maharashtra in December 2022. In June 2024, a complaint was filed in Lucknow’s MP-MP court. Rahul was not continuously appearing, after which the court imposed a fine. The complaint states that Rahul called Savarkar ‘British servant’ and ‘pensioner’.
What will happen if you do not appear again: The court has said that if Rahul exists in the next hearing, non-bailable warrant can be issued. However, this will not happen for the first time. The New Zealand has reached the final of the New Zealand Champions Trophy by defeating South Africa by 50 runs. New Zealand will face India in the final on 9 March. On Wednesday, New Zealand, batting first, scored 362 runs for 6 wickets. This tournament is the largest total in history. The African team could only manage 312 runs for 9 wickets.

Center approves Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib ropeway, 9 hours journey will be done in 36 minutes from ropeway in Kedarnath The central government has approved the rope-way project for Kedarnath Dham and Hemkund Sahib. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “The journey which is completed in 8-9 hours will be reduced to 36 minutes.”
12.9 km long ropeway for Kedarnath: A ropeway from Sonprayag to Kedarnath (12.9 km) in Uttarakhand will be built. The Kedarnath temple comes after a difficult climb of 16 km from Gaurikund. It is currently completed by foot, palanquin, pony and helicopter. After the ropeway, 1800 pilgrims will be delivered every hour and 18 thousand pilgrims every day.
12.9 km long ropeway for Hemkund Sahib: 12.4 km ropeway from Govind Ghat to Hemkund Sahib will be built. It will cost Rs 2,730.13 crore. 1100 passengers will be taken every hour from the ropeway and 11 thousand passengers every day. Hemkund Sahib is in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
