NCB has achieved great success in exposing India’s largest network selling drugs through darkness. The name of this network was ‘Ketamelon’ and for the last two years, it was sending drugs like LSD and Ketamine across the country. This operation was named ‘Operation Melon’ by the NCB Cochin Unit, in which a digital cryptocurrency of about 70 lakhs has been seized with 1127 LSD blots and 131.66 grams of ketamine.
These things found in the investigation
On 28 June 2025, 280 LSD blots were caught in three different parcels in Cochin. Investigation revealed that these parcels were booked by the same suspect. The next day, on 29 June, it was raided at her home, from where 847 LSD blots, 131.66 grams of ketamine, a pen drive, which had dark -access software KIITES OS, found many crypto wallets, hard disk and about 70 million usdt cryptocurrency wallets.
Drugs were supplied from this place
Investigation revealed that Ketamelon was India’s only ‘Level-4’ dark drug vendor, ie working at the top level. This network used to ask for drugs from UK dealer Gunga Din, who supplied LSD worldwide Dr. The Seuss is connected to the gang. Ketamelon sent drugs to many big cities of the country like Bangalore, Chennai, Bhopal, Patna, Delhi, Himachal and Uttarakhand. In the last 14 months, it delivered more than 600 parcels.
What is the effect of this drug
The market value of the seized LSD and ketamine is said to be around 35.12 lakhs. The price of a LSD blot ranges from 2500 to 4000. In 2023, NCB exposed another big dark drug gang named Zambada, with 29013 LSD blots, 472 grams MDMA and 51.38 lakh cash. 14 people were arrested in that case.
