After the completion of the debate of both the parties, the court had first fixed the day of the verdict on March 29, but on the last hearing, the court did not pronounce the verdict and fixed the day of the verdict today. Today the accused have been convicted, now the sentence will be announced on Tuesday.

On 13 May 2008, there were 8 serial blasts in Jaipur, near the guest house of the naunda bomb Chandpol market, it was defused 15 minutes before the bomb exploded.

Earlier, in 8 cases of blast, the same court has sentenced the accused to death about 5 and a half years ago, but the High Court acquitted all the accused, canceling the sentence. The state government’s appeal in this case is pending in the Supreme Court.

The four accused were produced in court on Friday afternoon.

ATS included three new witnesses There were 8 serial bomb blasts on 13 May 2008 in the boundary wall. Nearly 11 years later, on 20 December 2019, a special court of Jaipur bomb blast sentenced Saifurrahman, Mohammad Saif, Mohammad Sarwar Azmi and another minor (which was later considered by the High Court to be a minor at the time of the incident). At the same time, one of the accused Shahbaz Ahmed was acquitted.

After this, the ATS arrested all these accused from jail on 25 December 2019 in the live bomb case. However, in the 8 cases running earlier, the High Court overturned the decision of the special court on 29 March 2023 and acquitted all the accused. The High Court in its order also highlighted the deficiencies of the investigating agencies.

The ATS presented a supplementary charge sheet in the live bomb case. The ATS included three new witnesses. During the hearing, the ATS had recorded statements of a total of 112 witnesses including journalist Prashant Tandon, former ADG Arvind Kumar and Dinesh Mahawar, who tightened the bicycle.

71 people lost their lives in a series bomb blast.

The accused had said- the police could not decide who placed the bicycle in front of the temple On behalf of the accused, advocate Minhajul Haq said that no witness’s statements were recorded on behalf of the defense. He said- The facts of this case and 8 cases of blast in the past are the same. On the basis of these similar facts, the High Court has acquitted the accused. Even in this case, the prosecution could not find out who had placed a bicycle in front of the temple.

Two accused are on bail, two in jail The four accused in the live bomb case will take a decision. Two of them accused Saifurrahman and Mohammad Saif are lodged in Jaipur Central Jail. At the same time, Mohammad Sarwar Azmi and accused Shahbaz Ahmed are out on bail.
