Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held delegation level talks with his counterpart Andrase Plenkovi (Andrej Plenković) at the capital of Croatia. During this time, the two leaders discussed extensive issues to strengthen bilateral relations. Actually, Prime Minister Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Croatia. The tour is taking place in the final stages of his visit to three countries. Earlier, he went to Cyprus and Canada.
When Modi reached Jagreb, Croatian Prime Minister Plankovic welcomed him at the airport with special honors. After this, Modi was also given a formal guard of honor. External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt were also present. Prime Minister Modi will also meet Croatia’s President Joran Milanovic.

Prime Minister Modi said, “India and Croatia are associated with common values ​​like democracy, Rule of Law, Pluralism and Equality. Our bilateral relations have strengthened on the basis of these values.”
He said that a ‘defense cooperation plan’ will be made for long-term cooperation in the defense sector, in which training and military exchange as well as the defense industry will be focused. We have decided to increase cooperation in many areas to increase bilateral trade and prepare reliable supply chains. We will promote cooperation in Pharma, Agriculture, Information Technology, Clean Technology, Digital Technology, Renewable Energy, Semiconductor. Cooperation in shipbuilding and cyber security will be increased. I have clearly experienced the popularity of yoga here.
