Delhi Police started this operation after a secret information. In the first phase of the campaign, more than 100 slums and 150 narrow streets were conducted in -depth search and verification campaign. During this time, when a suspect was strictly questioned, he admitted to being a Bangladeshi citizen. On his spot, the police found an entire family, who was living without a valid document.

Transgender made to hide identity

Police arrested 13 Bangladeshi citizens in the first phase campaign, including 10 adults and 3 children. All these were living illegally in India in violation of the provisions of the Foreign Act, 1946. In the second phase, the police got five such accused, who took the form of transgender to protect themselves from identity. He adopted women’s costumes, wigs, makeup and gait.

Surgery was done to change face

According to police sources, some of them had also done medical treatment to bring changes in their voice and face. During interrogation, these accused admitted that they did all this to avoid the eyes of the enforcement agencies. They wanted to be lost in the crowd by being a part of the Kinnar community. Seven mobile phones were recovered from those caught, in which the banned messaging app IMO installed.

Delhi Police has now started investigating the suspicious activities being done through this app. These 18 illegal intruders have been identified as citizens of districts like Dhaka, Khulna, Ghazipur and Ashrafabad in Bangladesh. These people can also be involved in illegal activities around Delhi and it.
