The police is going to make high -tech arrangements to strengthen the crime happening in the country’s capital Delhi. Under this, smart cameras and smart sensors will be installed. After this, if a criminal commits or shoots, then this system will immediately alert the police. This will help in identifying criminals. Not only this, the vehicles used by them will also be immediately identified, which will make it easier for the police to track them.

A senior police officer said that it is being started in some areas as a pilot project. It will gradually be installed in the entire National Capital Region. Its purpose is to strengthen the monitoring mechanism in the entire city. These smart sensors are capable of detecting crime or firing within a radius of about 500 meters to one kilometer. As soon as the firing is firing between this distance, the sensor will alert the PTZ (PAN-PAN-zoom) cameras. With this, they will focus on the direction of voice and focus.

These smart sensors will send an alert to their nearest PTZ camera, which will roam towards the shooting place. This will capture the footage of the vehicle used by them for the incident, accused and escape. This system will integrate facial recognition system (FRS) cameras and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras. The simultaneous of these two systems will help identify the culprit and the vehicle used by him.

Along with this, the entire network will be connected to the integrated command, control, communication and computer center (C4I) in the Delhi Police Headquarters. The input found here will be immediately sent to the concerned police officers and police stations. Once the firing is discovered, the operator will assess the alert on the C4i. If the incident is confirmed, it will send an alert to the PCR van near the spot without any delay. The PCR team will be active as soon as the alert is received. Will go to the scene.

The police officer said that this system will prove to be very helpful in intensifying police response. Shortly before this technology, a successful trial has been done in the Police Training College in Jhoroda Kalan. After the success of the pilot project, it will be installed at major places in the city. Let us tell you that in recent times, there has been a rapid increase in incidents of firing in Delhi. In such a situation, this smart step of the police is going to prove to be a time for criminals. This will reduce crime rapidly.
