Votes were cast for Delhi assembly elections on 5 February. Now it is the turn of count. The votes will be counted at different counting centers from 8 am on Saturday. The votes are counted according to the round. Where there will be counting in more rounds, the results of the same will come late and where there will be counting in a low round, the results are expected to come soon.
How is how many rounds are decided on which seat?
On how many polling stations are there in a assembly constituency, it depends on how many rounds will be counted in how many rounds. Usually 7 to 14 tables are installed for counting in every assembly. EVM of one booth opens at a time on every table.
For example, if there are 200 booths (polling stations) in an assembly constituency and 10 tables have been installed for counting there, then the counting process will be completed in 20 rounds. Accordingly, counting of votes in Delhi Cantt can be completed in 8 rounds. At the same time, the most time can be spent in assembly constituencies like Vikaspuri, Matila and Burari. In all these areas, votes will be counted in more than 25 rounds.

The process of counting starts at 8 am. But in the first half an hour, only postal ballot is counted. The counting of EVMs starts from 8:30 pm. The count of postal ballot continues simultaneously. The rule says that the post ballot count should be completed before the start of the last round of EVM.
