Delhi government cabinet – 5 ministers including Delhi CM Rekha Gupta are criminal cases, know how educated the whole cabinet – Adr Report Says Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and 71 per cent of newly sworn in ministers factor

According to the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), an organization working for election reforms, 5 of all the 7 new ministers who took oath in Delhi have declared 5 (71 percent) criminal cases against him, while two are billionaires ( 29 percent). This information has been received from the affidavit submitted by the ministers before the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections.

The ADR report states that 5 ministers including Chief Minister Rekha Gupta have declared criminal cases against them. Among them, a minister Ashish Sood has serious criminal charges. The highest declared total assets are MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden constituency, whose assets are Rs 248.85 crore and MLA Kapil Mishra from Karawal Nagar constituency with the lowest assets, whose assets are Rs 1.06 crore.

The average assets of seven ministers are Rs 56.03 crore. All seven ministers have announced the liabilities, in which the MLA of New Delhi constituency Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma has the highest liability of Rs 74.36 crore. Six ministers (86 percent) have declared an educational qualification of graduation or above, while one minister has completed only 12th standard. In the case of age, five ministers (71 percent) are between 41 and 50 years of age, while the remaining two (29 percent) are between 51 and 60 years of age. The cabinet consists of only one female minister who is the Chief Minister’s Rekha Gupta himself.

Let us know that in Delhi, BJP has formed the government after 27 years after defeating the Aam Aadmi Party. Votes were cast on February 5 for the Delhi assembly elections and the results were released on 8 February. The BJP won an absolute majority by winning 48 seats in the 70 -member Delhi Legislative Assembly, while the Aam Aadmi Party was reduced to 22 seats. BJP made Shalimar Bagh MLA Rekha Gupta the Chief Minister of Delhi. At the same time, Parvesh Saheb Singh Verma, Ashish Sood, Pankaj Kumar, Kapil Mishra, Ravindra Indraj and Manjinder Singh Sirsa became ministers.
