Delhi-ncr weather update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding the power thunderstorms in many areas of Delhi-NCR. In view of the changing weather, there has been trouble for the passengers going from Delhi to other cities. Airlines company has issued advisory for flight passengers.
According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon rains will affect many areas, in which there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in some places. IMD has reported that within the next two hours, Karnal, Rajaund, Asandh, Safidon, Jind, Sonipat, Gohana, Gannaur, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Matanhel, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Noah, Aurangabad, Hodal (Haryana), Nandgaon, Igalas, Igalas, Igalas, Igalasa, Igalas, (UP) Light to moderate rainfall will be held at many places in Bhiwadi, Tijara (Rajasthan). Along with this, there is also a possibility of light thunderstorms and strong winds at a speed of 30-50 km/h.
Meteorological Department updated for Delhi
The Meteorological Department released the weather bulletin for Delhi. The IMD had also predicted thunder and lightning in the national capital on Wednesday (July 16) with moderate level of thunderstorms and lightning. At the same time, on Wednesday, Delhi’s minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees below normal. Apart from this, Humidity was recorded at 89 percent at 8:30 am.
Air quality index satisfactory in Delhi
Due to continuous rains, the air quality in Delhi is in a much better condition. The Air Quality Index (AQI) 60 was recorded at 9 am on Wednesday morning, which falls in a satisfactory category.
Airlines released travel advisory
In view of the weather of the capital Delhi, the airline company Air India has issued a travel advisory. Air India issued an advisory on its X account saying, ‘Flight operations may be affected due to stormy air in Delhi. For a smooth air travel, we request passengers to check the status of their flight before coming to the airport.
