Bangladeshi Deportation: Delhi Police has deported two more Bangladeshi citizens living in India illegally. Both these Bangladeshis were living illegally in Delhi since 2005. Police have identified them as Najma Khan alias Kajol and her son Naeem Khan, residents of Sunder Guna village, Bangladesh. Both were arrested during a special drive near Shastri Market in Vasant Vihar police station area of ​​Delhi and sent to Bangladesh with the help of FRRO.
Naeem Khan told during interrogation that he had entered India from Benapole border in 2020. His mother Najma Khan had come to India from this border 20 years ago. The arrest of these two has further strengthened the campaign of Delhi Police in the case of illegal migration. The police followed all legal procedures to deport both of them to Bangladesh.
Another success of Delhi Police
Police also arrested a Bangladeshi citizen Mohammad Akhtar Shaikh in Sarojini Nagar police station area of ​​Delhi. This person used to work as a laborer and after being arrested in a case, he had lied to the police that he was a resident of West Bengal. When the police confirmed his information, he described himself as a Bangladeshi citizen and said that he had entered India illegally in 2004. Later he married a Hindu girl in West Bengal.
Delhi Police adopted a strict stance
In these three cases, Delhi Police made it clear that action will continue against Bangladeshi citizens living illegally. Police say that in all these cases, following the legal process, they are being deported to the respective countries so that Delhi can be freed from such illegal immigrants.
