Delhi police engine: Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Naresh Balyan was heard in the Rouse Avenue Court for arrest in the Makoka (Maha crime control act) case. Delhi Police sought additional time in this case from the court, in which the reason for the longer investigation process was and the need of more time was given.
An application was filed in the court on behalf of Delhi Police, in which it was said that the wires of the investigation of the MCOCA case are connected far away. Because of this, Delhi Police needs more time to complete the investigation. Accepting this application of the police, the court has given a separate time of 60 days to complete the investigation against Naresh Balian.
Delhi Police arrested Naresh Balian on 4 December
Delhi Police arrested former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Naresh Balyan on 4 December 2024. He was detained under MCOCA after his arrest. Naresh Balian was arrested in the case of forced recovery of about a year old. The investigation against him is related to an alleged viral audio case in which the name of gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu has come out.

Gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu is a notorious criminal who hails from Najafgarh, Delhi. According to Delhi Police, he is currently present in the UK and cases are registered against him under more than 20 serious IPC sections. He is the mastermind of the Haryana’s Nafe Singh murder case and BJP leader Surendra Matiala murder case. According to investigative agencies, Kapil Sangwan gets extortion and target killing in the Delhi-NCR region. Recently, he had killed a BJP leader in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
Efforts continue to arrest Kapil Sangwan
The crime branch of Delhi Police is conducting a thorough investigation in the case of Naresh Balyan and gangster Kapil Sangwan. Although Kapil Sangwan is currently in the UK, the Delhi Police is constantly trying to arrest him. The police is expecting many important revelations in this matter.
