Tripura Student Sneha Debnath Body Found in Yamuna River: Sneha Debnath, a 19 -year -old student of Tripura, studying at Soul Ram Sanatan Dharma College of Delhi University (DU), was missing for the last six days. Now his body has been recovered from the Yamuna river. The police also received a suicide note, showing the intention of jumping from the Signature Bridge.
The Delhi Police has detected Debnath’s activities through technical surveillance and its final location was found near the Signature Bridge.
According to the news agency ANI, Sneha last talked to her parents on the morning of 7 July. After this, the family could not talk to Sneha. Family members said that Sneha had not withdrawn any money from her bank account for the last four months and suddenly left the house without carrying any goods.
Sneha had told her family at 5.56 am on the morning of 7 July that she is going to Sarai Rohilla station with her friend Pitunia. But after about three hours, when his phone came off, the family contacted Pitunia. Pitunia said that she did not go to meet Sneha and both did not meet. The family was shocked to hear this.

Subsequently, Sneha’s family discovered the taxi driver who left Sneha. The driver told that he had fielded Sneha near the signature bridge in Delhi. But due to the CCTV coverage not being cured in that area, Delhi Police could not find out further activities of Sneha.
After Sneha’s disappearance, Delhi Police and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) started a big search operation within a radius of about seven kilometers, but no clue was found even after a week. However, his body has been recovered today (Sunday).
On receiving information about the disappearance before the death, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha posted on the social media platform X and instructed the police to find Sneha as soon as possible.
On X, he wrote, ‘The Chief Minister’s Office has received information about the disappearance of Miss Sneha Debnath, a resident of Sabroom, Tripura. In this case, immediate instructions have been given to the police so that more appropriate action can be taken on time.
