The Delhi Traffic Police said in a traffic advisory issued on Sunday that the route from Kalindi Kunj to Faridabad of Agra Kanal Road will be closed for vehicles between July 21 to July 23. Police said that due to the movement of Kanwar passengers, there is a possibility of traffic shutdown and huge congestion on Yamuna Bridge Road in Kalindi Kunj.
Passengers going from Noida to Faridabad or Delhi have been advised to escape from both Yamuna Bridge Road and Agra Kanal Road from July 21 to 23.
Delhi Traffic Police has suggested alternative routes for vehicles coming from Noida to Delhi and Faridabad. These include using road number 13 from Kalindi Kunj, turning left towards Mathura Road/Faridabad bypass road and going through changed paths.
Emergency vehicles discount
The movement of emergency vehicles like ambulances, fire departments and police vehicles will be allowed, but they have been advised to avoid the affected routes until it is very necessary.
