Delhi weather update: The month of March is not passed and the effect of heat has started appearing in the capital Delhi. Hot winds are blowing during the day. The hottest day of this year was recorded on Friday (March 14, 2025) last day, after which it is being estimated that if Delhi is getting so hot in the month of March, then what will be the condition in May and June.
On the last Friday 14 March 2025, the hottest day of this year was recorded on the day of Holi, with a maximum temperature of 36.2 degrees Celsius. This temperature is 7.3 degrees above normal. However, according to the Meteorological Department, there was light rain in some parts of Delhi in the evening. Earlier on Friday, March 11 was recorded the hottest day till date, where the temperature reached 34.8 degrees Celsius.
There will be light rain on Saturday!
According to the Meteorological Department, on Saturday, Delhi and surrounding areas will be cloudy and light rain or drizzle may occur. IMD said that on Saturday (March 15, 2025), the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 34 degrees Celsius and 17 ° C. On the evening of Holi, light rain was seen in many places not only in the capital Delhi but also in the surrounding areas, such as Noida and Gurugram. A similar weather will remain in these areas on Saturday.

Temperature falls
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has been recorded due to rain, due to which the weather will remain pleasant. IMD has also said that Delhi NCR will be cloudy for the next few days and light rain may also occur at some places. With this, the temperature will continue to fall. After the rains, the CPCB said that after four o’clock in the evening, the air quality index was 193 on Friday, which was in the middle category.
