The DGP said that 7 BSF companies have been called keeping the festivals in mind. Each border district will be given 1-1 company. Apart from this, 50 police companies are also being deployed across the state. During this time the checking campaign will be increased.

Not only this, out of 20 murder cases in the last 8 months, 18 accused have been arrested. Since March 1, 2025, 20,414 cases have been registered under the campaign against war drug addiction.
