Dharmasthal case: Latki investigating in FSL report, Karnataka Home Minister said- SIT is doing its work! – Dharmasthala Mass Burial Case Special Investigation Team Probe Opnm2

The SIT investigation is still going on in the famous Dharmasthal case of Karnataka. The matter has become interesting after the overturning of the main witness and the complainant of this case. In such a situation, everyone wants the SIT investigation to be completed soon, so that the truth can be revealed to everyone. Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar on Tuesday gave clear instructions to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to complete his investigation as soon as possible.

The Home Minister clearly said that the process of investigation cannot remain hanging. He said, “The SIT is doing its work. The report of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) is yet to come. So far, the evidence has been recovered, they have been sent to FSL for investigation. We have asked them to finalize the report as soon as possible. SIT should complete the investigation as soon as possible.”

He said that it is not possible to ask the SIT to complete the investigation tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, because the investigating agency needs information and forensic report. FSL report is to come. They have to be finalized. Keeping all these things in mind, SIT will take action. The entire controversy started after the sensational claim of complainant CN Chinnaiya.

He had said that many bodies have been buried during the last two decades in the shrine. He even alleged that some bodies had sexual harassment marks. All this was in the knowledge of the temple administration. However, the police later arrested Chinnaiya on charges of false testimony. After her revelations, searches were conducted at her mentioned places in wild areas along the Netravati river.

During this time skeletons were recovered from two places. Earlier this month, additional remains were also found in the Banggudde forest area near the Netravati Snan Ghat. These seizures increased the seriousness of the case. In May, Chinnaiya and some others filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court, which was rejected by the court. The SIT can consider this aspect in its report.

Home Minister Parmeshwar was also asked why the action against activist Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi is delayed. To this, he said, “Let’s see what happens in the court. Action will be taken against them, or the police will arrest them according to the law. The government will not intervene. The police will take action as per their requirement.” Thimarodi supported Chinnaiya’s claims.

In 2012, he has agitated to demand justice in the rape and murder case of a student. However, there are several cases against him in the police records. These include serious allegations such as illegal gathering, riot, attack, criminal intimidation, disregard of police orders, spreading false information and violation of the Arms Act. At present, everyone’s eyes are on SIT.
