The Dharmasthal Temple is near Mangaluru in Karnataka. This temple is a form of Lord Shiva by Shri Manjunath.

The complainant who accused several bodies of burying several bodies in the shrine of Karnataka has been arrested by the State Government’s Special Investigation Team. The same person had accused many murders, rapes and bodies in the Dharmasthal in the last two decades.

According to reports, SIT Chief Pranab Mohanty questioned the complainant till late Friday night. He was arrested on Saturday morning. Officials said the arrests have been made after the statements and the documents found a disturbance.

The complainant was the former cleaning worker of the temple. He claimed that he had worked in the shrine between 1995 and 2014, and was forced to bury several bodies, including women and minors.

He had alleged that some bodies had sexual harassment marks. He also gave a statement before a magistrate in this regard. A case was registered in July at the Dharmasthal police station on the complaint of the sweeper.

On July 4, the former scavenger of the Dharmasthal claimed to be buried in the forests here, after which the demand for justice has intensified in the courtesy and Padmalata case here.
