New Delhi: The Indian cricket community, including Sachin Tendulkar, paid tribute to former left -arm spinner Dilip Doshi who died of a heart attack in London on Monday. He was 77 years old.
Tendulkar recalled his first meeting with the convict in the 1990 tour of England.
Tendulkar wrote on X, ‘I first met Dilip Bhai in Britain in 1990 and he bowled me on the nets on that tour. He loved me very much and I also respected his feelings. I will miss them a lot. May God give peace to his soul.
Former Indian all -rounder and head coach Ravi Shastri, who played with the convict, remembered him as ‘impeccable, a gentleman and the best bowler’.
